Our roots

The origins of Globadyme lie with Yash Ramdjas, the company's founder and CEO. With more than 7 years of experience in the payments industry, Yash emerged as a payments expert. The idea for Globadyme began to form in 2016, when Yash himself was faced with the problem of not being able to pay with his preferred payment methods. This challenge was further complicated by the different payment methods by country, with consumers having their own preferences. A notable example is iDEAL in the Netherlands, with a market share of more than 70% of transactions. For companies serving a wide range of customers, it is crucial to offer these diverse payment methods, as as many as 80% of consumers leave the website when their preferred method is missing.

Yash personally experienced the fragmentation of the payments landscape by repeatedly being unable to buy goods and services abroad. This experience sparked his fascination - some would say obsession - with payments. He knew there had to be a better way and decided with his team to develop a solution that would meet the demands of both businesses and consumers. The goal was clear: everyone should be able to pay online with their preferred payment methods without businesses having to worry about serving their diverse customer base.

We are aware of the thorn in the side of businesses: transaction fees. Yash came to realize that these fees are skyrocketing, when in fact they are unnecessary. The excessive prices charged by other providers today are unacceptable to us. With in-depth knowledge of the payment world, we realize that we can do things differently and better with Globadyme. This allows us to reduce transaction costs per transaction by as much as 50%.
